For the GAMERella 2023 GameJam in Montréal, I worked in a team of four to build a Unity-based 2D game within the timespan of two days.
As part of my master's program, I participated in a 20-week project executed in collaboration with six students from the Games and Interaction program at the HKU. I joined this team as a developer. We worked together with Theatre Walhalla, which is a small theatre in Rotterdam, on the project Amor Fati. This was an experimental digital theatre performance where film, digital images and games come together to form one experience. The online premiere of the performance was on December 24th 2020 and has been enjoyed by hundreds of people since then.
For the master course Computer Animation, I worked in a team of four students to create a short animation using Blender over the course of 10 weeks. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we were unfortunately not allowed in the motion capture lab, so we used motion capture data and the rigging tool from Mixamo to do most of the animations. Additionally, Adobe After Effects was used for post production.
